Winter... Such a powerful place. 
This beauty will top the list on my 2D artistic endeavours for a while. It's got the moody blues and winter hues. It is my first attempt at realism in my painting practice. This just spewed out of my during my baby's nap time one day, It was a connection!! It look a lot of finessing to blend and smooth it out. The colours of winter grab me like nothing else. Creating something in this dark colour was new for me and it feels cold with depth. Just looking at this piece makes you want to ski a line on this face.
