Galena

Galena is a ski lodge that I worked at several years ago near Trout Lake BC. The trees there were perfect and the misty snow was the stuff dreams are made of. This piece came together so easy. The original was 3' square and it just exploded out of me in a few evenings of painting. Lots of gestural illustrative lines in here, my eyes can bounce around the way I like them to. I wanted to capture the soft dreamy winter trees found around here in the Kootenay's.
